Don’t want to be a zombie, but still want to be part of the fun?

Volunteer registration is now open for Boston!  You can register under “Volunteers” tab for Saturday, May 5th here or Sunday, May 6th here.

All volunteers must be registered to help with our event before 4/23/2012.  This allows time for us to delegate assistance to our areas of need and send our volunteers information they’ll need for race day.

If you can no longer help out after registering to volunteer at our race, please let us know by shooting an e-mail to support@runforyourlives.com!

We offer many opportunities to contribute to this one-of-a-kind event. Race volunteers will be required to perform one of  the general duties listed below:

• Maintaining water/fruit stations
• Directing runners throughout course
• Interacting with the crowd
• Assisting with runner registration and general check-in
• Helping out in the “Zombie Transformation Center” where you can work in close quarters with our zombies!
• Overseeing runner rinse-off  and operating water hoses in the “Decontamination Zone”
• Providing support at our Gear Check tent
• Handing out race medals at the Finish Line

For a four-hour shift, race volunteers will receive:

• Free camping
• Snacks and water
• Free admittance to the Apocalypse Party
• Run for Your Lives volunteer t-shirt

Some Race Volunteers will have the opportunity to wear a provided costume.
